Dr. Fabiola Lara

Dr. Fabiola Lara has been treating patients for over 20 years. Her career began as a dental assistant during her undergraduate years of college, where she attended San Diego State University.

Dr. Lara graduated from University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry as a Fleming Scholar, a prestigious award for outstanding academic performance and community involvement. Dr. Lara's community outreach is highlighted by her being featured in the "First 5 California" educational video series with her daughter. The series' goal was to teach parents how to take care of their children's dental health during their first five years of life. Dr. Lara has also been instrumental in establishing pediatric departments in an underrepresented communities, where the need was greatest. Her international outreach includes participation in a cleft lip and palate surgery team of dentists and doctors in Wenzhou, China and Ghana, Africa.

"We wanted to give patients a private practice experience, which we accomplished by educating the parents and focusing on prevention over intervention. I told the parents that my success was knowing that their kids never had to experience having a cavity". - Dr. Lara.

Dr. Lara is proud of the excellent team she has developed over the years and the quality care they help her provide daily.
